Excellent video player. Built-in Opera browser is fast and fetching. Bigger screen and sexier interface

Lack of built-in 3G capability. Still no AC battery charger. Max sound volume way too low

The ultra-glossy screen was perhaps the most formidable hurdle while viewing content, particularly in broad daylight. We were constantly searching for the optimal angle to reduce glare. While we're complaining, it's worth mentioning that the Archos 5 ...

Archos 605 WiFi

Archos 605 gets a screen upgrade and a price cut, along with access to CinemaNow's movies. Will the improvements break the PMP into the mainstream?

Great screen with polished new interface. Good video playback, with some interesting content options. Best-in-class Web browser.

No transfer software, still. Wi-Fi can get sluggish. Buttons seemed wobbly, and we weren't fond of the button layout.

MyVu Personal Media Viewer

The MyVu visor lets you watch you iPod's movies behind a dark visor with deep in-ear headphones. Was it an immersive experience?

Comfortable option for watching video for long stretches. Good picture quality. Setup couldn't be easier.

Picture still seems small, not at all immersing . Headphones are bass-heavy, not accurate enough for high-quality movie sound. Shortens battery life significantly.
