I purchased this cassette player/radio in July 2008 and have used it almost daily for listening to books on tape. It stopped working yesterday. I definitely got my $$'s worth and will be ordering another.

I have purchased one for my father. It stopped playing the cassettes in about 4 months. I have tried to clean the roller but it did not help. Don't buy junk, folks!

I used this to transfer many cassettes to digital mp3 and it worked great. Just use an 1/8" cable from the headphone jack to the line in (NOT MIC IN) jack on your pc! Surprisingly low noise level. As for the neg comments. Yes it is cheep and cheaply...

The quality of this item is very poor! The first one broke in a week, the vendor was great and replaced it No Charge. But, it has a 10 hour battery life, poor sound quality. Save yourself the trouble, spend another $10 and get something worth it.
