MobiBlu B153 (1GB, black)

Designwise, the MobiBlu B153 is nothing special, though it's competitively priced. It's available in 512MB (white, $89), 1GB (black, $100), and 2GB (black, $130) capacities, and it measures 3.5 by 1.8 inches, with a tapering depth of 0.8 to 0.5 inch....

The MobiBlu B153 offers unbeatable battery life as well as nifty features such as an FM radio, line-in recording, and SRS Wow sound effects. Podcast Ready software comes loaded on the device, allowing for automatic updating of subscribed podcasts from...

The MobiBlu B153's design is blah, and navigation is strictly via folder trees, so there's no sorting by artist, album, genre, and so on. Also, the screen is small in relation to the device.

MobiBlu's B153 isn't the most stylish MP3 player on the block, but if you're looking for an ultra-long-lasting device with plenty of features, it may be just the ticket.

mobiBLU B153 MP3 Player

Lets call it like it is... Apple's iPod owns the portable digital audio player market. There are lots of different MP3 players

Small and attractive design ; Outstanding battery life unmatched by any other player ; Very clear and bright screen ; Lots of accessories included ; Uses a standard mini-USB port on the device ; Very strong FM tuner ; Good recording capabilities

Menu structure is way too complex ; Unable to browse by folder ; Sound quality is mediocre ; podcastready software does not work correctly out of the box ; Lyrics are not in sync with the music ; Flimsy mini-USB port cover ; Odd clear protective case

Again, I am going to call it like it is... Apple is in no danger of losing the MP3 crown from the B153. The iPod simply has one of the best user interfaces ever designed. In comparison with the iPod, the B153 falls flat in sound quality and ease of...

MobiBLU B153 [non-video]

Introduction 1.237KB,0m53sFor those of you interested in a little story about brand name recognition: there's a nice couple of paragraphs to be found in our previous MobiBLU review (the DAH-2000 one). Please refer to said review for some background...

The MobiBLU B153 was quite the experience for me to review. A player that boasts a 153 hour battery life obviously seemed worth our precious time, but we also needed to keep track of the actual "relevance value" here. Keep in mind that it takes about...

Works well with NetLibrary and OverDrive Audiobooks; 5 bookmarks

On 3/30/07, I got a 2GB version of the MobiBlu 153B player (also know as DAH-1900V). I have successfully used it to download and listen to audio books from both Netlibrary and Overdrive. The player has 5 bookmarks and a resume function. I find it easy...

Looks a lot like the iAudio G3

This player is very solid, but looks, feels and even has nearly identical firmware to the iAudio flash players and more specifically the G3 model. I smell a lawsuit...

compact, light weight, jammed full of a variety of useful features and simple navigation

Flash memory limits storage capacity and augments the price considerably

DO NOT EXPECT ANY SUPPORT IN THE US

The MP3 worked as advertised, until it died
