The Sony NWZ-S610 series features a compact design with a high-quality feel and an ample screen. The user interface is intuitive, and there are plenty of features to choose from, such as an FM radio and photo and video playback. No more awful ...
The Sony NWZ-S610 series doesn't offer any exceptional new technology, and there are cheaper competitors that offer the same features.
The Sony NWZ-S610 series Walkman doesn't bring anything striking or new to the table, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a quality MP3 player with nice extras and a killer battery life. Plus, Sony got rid of SonicStage--the best news ever.

With top-notch video resolution, incredible viewing angles, and integrated support for wireless movie downloads, the Archos 605 WiFi is the best of its breed.
Battery life is only average. Many users will need to shell out extra for software and hardware accessories they'll wish were included.
The Archos 605 WiFi portable video player is one of the best mobile distractions money can buy.

The Archos 405 offers a big, beautiful, glare-free screen, above-average audio quality, SD Flash memory expansion, and Mac/PC compatibility, at a very attractive price
The Archos 405 has only 2GB of built-in memory ; battery life is just average ; and the lack of a kickstand or built-in speaker is disappointing for a PVP
As the Archos 605 WiFi's little sib, the Archos 405 holds its own as one of the best portable video players for under $200.

The Samsung U3 doesn't offer the best sound quality, and the touch-sensitive controls won't appeal to everyone. It has a small, monochrome display.
The Samsung U3 is the proof that a basic MP3 player doesn't have to be ugly and featureless; it's simple, inexpensive, cool-looking, and perfect for the gym.

The control pad on the GoGear SA6000 feels cheaply built, and there's no album-art support. The unit is large for a flash player, and some music comes across flat while some bass-heavy tracks are slightly distorted.
The Philips GoGear SA6545 is a feature-filled MP3 player that will suit those looking for good video playback over a compact form factor.

The TrekStor i.Beat Pink features a sleek, compact design and an ample screen. It also offers desirable extras such as an FM tuner, a voice recorder, and video support. The player is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.
The touch-sensitive controls on the TrekStor i.Beat Pink take some getting used to, and there's no dedicated volume control. Photos don't look great, and you can't view them while listening to music. There's also no support for album art or protected ...
The TrekStor i.Beat Pink is a sleek and reasonably priced player for fans of the pop star, but there are better flash players available for the average user.

The Creative Zen Stone Plus comes in a choice of six colors and offers 2GB of storage for less than $70. It includes some handy extras, such as an FM tuner, a stopwatch, and a voice recorder. The player also has good sound quality.
The Zen Stone Plus interface is not totally intuitive, and the screen is too small to display full track info. It also doesn't offer full ID3 tag sorting for music, and the rated battery life is unimpressive.
For those who want a super small and cute MP3 player that offers more than just simple music playback, the Creative Zen Stone Plus fits the bill nicely.

As tiny as the iAudio 7 is, it's still about three times the width of an iPod Nano. The reflective, glossy plastic found on the front and back of the player is prone to smudges and glare. There's a learning curve to the Swing Touch interface, and we ...
The Cowon iAudio 7 beats the industry heavyweight iPod Nano in price, features, battery life, and sound quality. The user interface could use some refinement, but all-in-all this is a very impressive MP3 player.

The RCA Opal is a slender, inexpensive MP3 player with a 1.5-inch color OLED screen. It supports voice/line-input recording, photos, videos, Audible files, and DRM-protected music subscriptions.
The RCA Opal's interface can be frustrating to navigate, and its video software requires patience. There's also no radio.
There are better MP3 players than the RCA Opal for the money, but none capable of handling both video and photos.
