Neuros Audio MPEG4 Recorder 2

Allows scheduled recordings ; Makes legal copies of DVDs ; Faster than encoding software ; No computer needed ; Stylish, real-time encoding for iPod and Sony PlayStation Portable

IPod encoding requires Compact Flash or Memory Stick Duo card and memory-card reader for transferring media to your Mac ; Clumsy interface ; Encode quality passable but not great

Neuros Audio MPEG4 Recorder 2

I have never had a CF card fail. I have bought and integrated 18 of these R2's for wildlife monitoring, traffic recording and in car "racecar" video systems. Not one failure.

Inexpensive, compact, good DVD recording quality, easy to use

Not battery operated
