Oakley Thump Pro (1GB, crystal black/black iridium)

Available in a variety of capacities (256MB, 512MB, and 1GB) and frame/lens color combos (Polished Black/Grey, Polished Black/Black Iridium, Brown Smoke/Dark Bronze, and Crystal Black/Black Iridium), the Thump Pros nevertheless aren't for everyone....

The Oakley Thump Pro sunglasses integrate an MP3 player into a compact, wearable, and straightforward design; they're extremely useful for outdoor activity. Like previous Thumps, these are compatible with both Windows and the Mac OS

The Oakley Thump Pro sunglasses are expensive, and the style won't appeal to all users. The capacity maxes out at 1GB

If you're an active user looking to combine your love of music with your zest for outdoor activity, the Oakley Thump Pro MP3-playing sunglasses could be a great fit.

NOT Sweat Resistant

Why put that on the website? I bought the Thump Pros for my husband, after one summer of riding a bike 4 times weekly, they fried due to sweat. Plus, he couldn't wear them as sunglasses because the earbuds looked weird. They were repaired under...

Looks good. Convenient, no need for sunglasses AND an MP3 player. No wires

NOT sweat resistant

Oakley Thump Pro Pain

I'm on my 6th pair. Each lasting about 6-9 months. Each suffered the same fate due to "excessive Sweat" . I've learned to keep receipts cause that's the only way they'll replace them...but only in the first 90 days. After that it's $40 just to look at...

Love the wire free aspect

I'm on my 6th pair. Each lasting about 6-9 months. Each suffered the same fate due to either "you must've worn them in the rain or "excessive Sweat" . At this point I beleive they're programmed to fail at the 6 -9 month mark

Stay away - too unreliable.

The product is unreliable. I've sent Oakley my Thump Pro glasses 4 different times for repair. First, the battery didn't hold the charge. Second, the left ear phone functioned intermittently and needed to be replaced. Third, the electronics were...

The glasses offer optical advantages standard of Oakley eye glass products

Unreliable. Easily affected by dampness. Do not sweat, do not use the product in a damp climate, take precautions to avoid condensation within the product's electronic area, and be patient they are sent in for repair

Wireless, but nor reliable!

I got the Oakley Thump Pro 1GB to wear while running. After all, Oakley claims they are for athletic purposes, advertises with triathlete Heather Fuhr running in a pair, and even claims you can run a marathon in them. NOT TRUE!!! I wore them for...

Wireless, look cool

Will die if used for any athletic activity
