Philips GoGear Spark review

The GoGear Spark is a bite-size MP3 player from Philips with an affordable price ($49 for 2GB or $59 for 4GB), well-rounded features, and a unique design. If you're looking for a small MP3 player that won't break the bank, the Spark is hard to beat.

The Philips GoGear Spark packs music, photos, radio, voice recording, long battery life, and a color screen into an affordable little package.

The GoGear Spark is light on format support, voice recordings are noisy, storage capacity is meager, and not everyone will appreciate its wearable design.

In the world of budget MP3 players, the Philips GoGear Spark is a diamond in the rough, offering an attractive balance of features, style, and usability.

Philips GoGear SA5200BT review

The GoGear SA5245BT is one of Philips' best-executed MP3 players in the past year, offering an attractive design along with advanced features such as Bluetooth wireless audio and Rhapsody subscription music DNA. There's nothing revolutionary about the...

The Philips GoGear SA5245BT MP3 player includes music, video, and photo playback, FM radio, voice recording, Rhapsody subscription music support, above-average earbuds, and wireless stereo Bluetooth audio.

The Philips GoGear SA5245BT isn't flashy or slim, and it's not the most affordable player in town. Videos require conversion before syncing, and audio enhancement features are few.

If you're looking for a Bluetooth-compatible MP3 player or you want to make the most of your Rhapsody music subscription, the Philips GoGear SA5245BT offers a well-rounded set of features at an attractive price.

Philips GoGear HDD6320

Philips' original 20GB music player, launched in 2003, really caught our imagination. Its sleek lines and distinct black casing made it stand out from the iPod crowd with a fashion statement all its own.

A triumph of style and simplicity. The only criticism we have of the gorgeous GoGear HDD6320 is that we'd have liked a marginally larger display to enjoy our photos as well as our music.

Philips Go Gear HDD 6320

Philips have often been at the forefront of innovation and this MP3/Picture Viewer/Voice Recorder certainly stands out from the competition.

Philips GoGear HDD6320 30 GB: The Philipod?

Upon first glance, the Philips HDD 6320 lead anyone to assume that it was an Ipod. It has a 55 millimetre screen which is quite large, it is a transflective backlit colour display TFT display screen. This supports photos, but not videos. The quality of...

Philips GoGear HDD6320 30 GB: Very good mp3 player, less good iPod substitute.

This mp3 player has fallen between two stools a bit, which is unfortunate since judged solely as an mp3 player, it's definitely a great product: it looks very smart, and has touch-sensitive controls; the 30GB capacity is more than enough for most...

Stylish, good capacity, good sound quality

Quite expensive, no video capability

Philips GoGear HDD6320 30 GB: Go, Go, GoGear!

At last - a non-iPod, large memory, reliable mp3 player, with the necessary features required by any music fan. The GoGear HDD6320 is an outstanding device, unlike any I have ever experienced. The touch sensitive key pad makes it very easy to scroll...

never again

nice looking ; relatively easy to use as there is very little in the way of an instruction manual

maual will only tell you how to set up the mp3 ; it will not tell you how to sort any problems that arise eg download one album with more than one artist and you can end up with several album entries and have to hunt for the song you want ; very annoying

i will never buy philips again as this is the second mp3 i have had from their make and both times the mp3 has frozen then swiched itself off. it is then unable to restart and becomes a usless mp3 and a waste of money

Philips GoGear HDD6320 30GB

Good design, high capacity, fashionable appearance.

(1) The synchronisation of ripped CDs using Windows Media Player 10 is unreliable. A significant number of files appear to be corrupted on synchronsiation with the result that the HHD6320 will not play them. This could be a fault with WMP10 as similar...
