most of the problems i noted could be fixed with a firmware upgrade if Philips would make one, i bought this since the DJ ditty was pulled from sales and im glad it was this player is cool. i bought this player because i wanted one that would play FM...

good sound quality ; FM tuner ; allows folders ; FM and voice recording ; yellow and blue display ; retractable usb ; cool animations ; smooth and classy black and silver design ; charges on USB no AAA WOOT ; light weight

cannot play while charging on USB ; hard to keep fingerprints off ; no playlists - use folders instead ; only records FM and Voice in WAV ; FM works best on close stations and still crackles ; casing can feel weak to some

Some interface response issues

The SA1335 is a solid but not outstanding MP3 player. It offers good sound quality combined with a stylish design and a built in USB port, but the sluggish interface and slightly lofty price tag hold it back from being excellent.
