Not good for non-continuous use

I'm not sure who engineered this product, but it's not very user friendly. My biggest complaint is that it does not remember the last song you were playing. So if you turn off the device explicitly, or it turns itself off after some idle time (~5...

Cheap. Great sound

Very poor product engineering. It does not remember the song you were playing and you need to browse over to the song you want to play every time you turn on the device

Hmm..

Other than that I am PLEASED with NewEgg's customer service/delivery time. Out of all products I purchased, I'm thus happy with the service so FAR. Outstanding. Great deals!

Portability

Kinda big. Not to mention, maybe I received a defective one? Transfer rate on mine is takes ~10 minutes for 186 MB. Something wrong with mine? I have a 2.0 U.S.B. port on my comp.. *shrugs ; Sound quality is kinda ear piercing even with my Apple...

Data files on mp3

The files you see when you are adding music, STDBTR,etc, Have nothing to do with operation of player. Its firmware or hardware. If it did they would not even show up visually, As is the case of the sa2325. I deleted all files and it works perfectly....

Update.. This player is working great!!! It is better than Philips sa 2325 2GB player that was prior other than the fact It holds less than half music content. Like the fact it starts up right away. The sa2325 takes appprox. 2 to 3 minutes to start

As before the earbuds need replacing

Very poor product

Own a few Philip products but this is the first disappointment. Guess I have to spend big $$$ for iPod.

Cheap

Only worked for a week. Then it only turned on for 5 seconds and shut down. Bought new batteries and followed the manual for trouble shooting but still not working. Very disappointing. Spent too much time on fixing it

Go Phillips!!

A cheap alternative to joining the white head phone nation!

I was looking for a cheap FM radio for working out in the gym and settled on this GEM. It is an inexpensive, easy to use player that adds a lot of great features. The MP3 files are easy to add (no ACC). Simple set up had me listening to files within...

The play button is temperamental. It sometimes takes a few hits to get it to go. But for the price, that is worth living with

Cheap High Quality MP3 Player

Sort of a case of being too much of a tech for my own good here. By not installing any of the accompanying software, I almost missed my chance for an easy problem fix. The Philips Device Manger software recovered my MP3 player and updated my firmware...

FM Tuner is very sensitive. Batteries last a long time. Sounds great. The display is exceptional for such a low cost player. The difference between this and the usual low quality display of a USB stick type MP3 player is huge. Not only that, but having...

One night my Philips MP3 player suddenly stopped turning on all the way. By this I mean it would boot up, flash the "Philips" logo briefly, then turn off. I was thinking of doing an RMA. Then, I found the "Philips Device Manager" software through...

Philips Gogear .... Pretty good for the price

I got this for less than 20$ and it works great out of the box.. It has an FM radio and the reception is pretty good.. The menu is easy to navigate and I didn't have any sound related issues... Overall I'm satisfied with the purchase and this is a...

Nifty gadget

I'm very pleased with this little mp3 player/FM tuner. I really like the fact that it does not require any vendor supplied software to work (since it is a USB mass storage device). It also does an excellent job of parsing the ID3 tags in mp3 files and...
