In the five years that I have been reviewing MP3 players for CNET, I have seen a lot of strange ones. I have seen MP3 player shoes , MP3 player sunglasses , MP3 player keychains , MP3 players for toddlers , and even Apple's confounding buttonless iPod...

The Samsung Galaxy Muse is small, relatively affordable, and designed to pull music from a handful of Samsung smartphones without a computer intervening.

The controls are impossible to use by feel alone, and are often infuriating in even the best circumstances. The unique cables and adapters are easy to lose.

The Samsung Galaxy Muse is quite possibly the most awkwardly designed MP3 player ever made.

I have to disagree with the reviewer about the interface. It is incredibly simple to use even in complete darkness. It's such a small player you can't miss the "buttons". There is a smooth side (with the controls) and a clip side (no controls), easy to...

Easy to use, small, decent sound.

Not a fault of the player, but doesn't work with my Droid 4. Sound alive is horrible, at least when you use good headphones.
