SanDisk Sansa M260 MP3 Player

SanDisk's Sansa m260 flash player shares the same 4GB storage capacity as Apple's high-end iPod Nano. And that's where any similarity between the two players ends. The m260, which costs $199 (as of 4/13/06), may offer more bang for the buck than the...

Reasonable price for memory and features

Not easy to use

The Sansa m260 is a decent little MP3 player, and for active music lovers who want 4GB of storage at a reasonable price, it's worth a look. However, if you want an easy-to-use device that puts equal weight on form and function, you should keep shopping

SanDisk Sansa m200 review: SanDisk Sansa m200

SanDisk's Sansa m200 series SanDisk MP3 players hit the scene in a big way with the 2004 launch of the Digital Audio Player and later the Sansa e100 series . With a motto that could be "Lots of features for less!" the memory giant's flash-based MP3...

Available in up to 4GB capacity; solid value; includes FM tuner and voice recorder; compatible with WMA DRM 10 (Janus) and Audible files; decent controllers; on-the-go playlists.

Bulky (but lightweight); no line-in recording; poorly backlit display; only one quality option for voice recording.

With its many features as well as its compatibility with audiobooks and subscription-based music, the SanDisk Sansa m200 series is an overall great value.

SanDisk Sansa m260 4GB MP3 Player (Internal Flash Drive, FM Tuner, 19 Hours)

I really like this MP3. The featrues are great and easy to use. The menu structure is intuitive and simple to navigate. It is very light and easy to fit anywhere. The pictures of the player don't show how thick the device is. That was unexpected but...

SanDisk Sansa m260 4GB MP3 Player (Internal Flash Drive, FM Tuner, 19 Hours)

I've owned the unit for just under a year and it's been flawlessly reliable. The fact that you never have to recharge it is really convenient. Just check the battery indicator before you head out for a run or bike ride and slip in a recharged battery...

Large storage capacity for the price. 19 hours of play timeon 1 triple A. No recharge time. Just slip in another rechargable battery and your off running again. I run/bike in the rain & it's reliable

It's a bit thicker than I would like. The buttons have a flimsy feel but work fine

SanDisk Sansa m260 4GB MP3 Player (Internal Flash Drive, FM Tuner, 19 Hours)

This MP3 Player is very small and convenient to use - I like that I can navigate without even looking at it. I also like that you can arrange music by artist, by playlist by title etc. I bought a tape car adapter, so i can listen to it in my car as...

Small and user friendly, with large display

The syncronization with the included software (to load the songs) takes a while

SanDisk Sansa m260 4GB MP3 Player (Internal Flash Drive, FM Tuner, 19 Hours)

I wanted a 4 GB flash based player for long runs and plane trips. I currently have a 5-year old Rio S50, but the capacity is too small (256 MB + 1 GB SD Card). Considered an iPod Nano, but price was prohibitive. Saw the Sansa m260 in a Circuit City ad...

4 GB for $150 is a great value, light weight, sound quality is surprisingly good

Cheap build quality, bulky/thick design
