does not come with battery, or lanyard,

Small, sleek, and fun.

Hard outer casing can take a beating. It's also very easy to use

The software won't allow you to upload songs to another computer

Great player- now, at least.

Good value, well at least now that the price is 109$CDN for the 256mb. Also, the new update allows it to natively play MP3; I still stick to the ATRAC3 format though because it allows me to squeeze in more songs w/o loss of quality-- the 256mb is more lik

Needs to come with a case; the plastic is a little too easy for my liking to scratch, so I cut a piece of PDA screen protector to go over it. Also, the UI has a high learning curve-- but once you get used to it it's a piece of cake

A good overall player

Lots: small size, long battery life, good design, lots of sound setting for choosing.Definitely beat Creative and Apple ipod in a pinch

Expensive, get it on ebay for cheaper

Consumer review by:

amazing for its size

Tiny, very, very well built. 256mb is plenty, if you use sony's format (ATRAC3plus)...sound quality is superior. Like the SonicStage software, too--very intuitive

None. I can see why this unit costs about $150. It's worth it, if you're a jogger who doesn't want one of those stupid arm bands (but want's to stick it in their pocket instead)

sonicstage ruins the experience

great battery life -small size

openMG song transfer software -no MP3 compatability -long transfer time

Consumer review by:

Easy to use, handy mp3 player

It is very tiny, nice to listen to while going for a walk. Easy to find buttons, you can use your thumb without looking to adjust settings. Great sound, sturdy outercase and easy to use software. It holds a lot of songs.I highly recommend

It is a little pricey, transferring songs is a little timely, but still at an acceptable level

Wow! Sony rules.

I can honestly say, this is the best mp3 player I've owned and heard, to date. And I've heard them all, including the i-pod. Sony just seems to always be one step better than the rest. The sound quality is very close to CD playback. I purchased this ...

Nifty little player, great sound quality
