Total failure

Got mine free with X-series from Amazon. Despite being fairly good with gadgets, I have failed to get this thing to work with any of three TV sets, 2 Sky boxes, and 2 DVD players. Many hours later, to spare myself stress, and a lot of time, I chucked...

Simple but effective

I've set this up by splitting the feed from my dvd hard drive to the TV. My Sky feed goes into the dvd player. This means I can record from Sky or from programmes I've saved on the hard drive. It will not record protected dvd's which is a disappointment.

Probably Good If You Have a SONY TV

I have connected this item to my LG PLasma TV - it has EPG, but this will not record via the EPG Timer on the TV.

I have connected this item to my LG PLasma TV - it has EPG, but this will not record via the EPG Timer on the TV. This limits its appeal to me, to be honest. It charges the Walkman I have - so that's what it is used for .... pretty expensive charger I...

Sony Walkman recording cradle

An elegantly simple and effective piece of kit. Plug it in, pop in the Walkman, choose what you want to record and press the button - it is really that easy. Its also unbelieveable how much video you can revord onto the Walkman.
