The S-Series Walkman maxes out at 8GB and doesn't include memory expansion. The packaged earbuds, which are necessary for the noise-cancellation feature, may not be comfortable for all users. There's no voice recording option

File transfer process is typical Sony: User-hostile, and software doesn't work as promised. Main control button is too tiny. Volume control is so tiny that it loses most of it's benefit of being separate. No Audible book support

The player has wonderful sound quality, even when used with headphones from other brands. It has a sleek interface and is user-friendly, so you don't really need to go through the user's manual.
If the screen were bigger by a mere 0.2 inch, video viewing would be a more pleasant experience. The included software does not include a video converter. And... I hate the plastic packaging, it makes the player look cheap.
