Sony Walkman NWZ-A726 / A728 / A729

Sony Walkman NWZ-A726

By Frazier Barretto

If you're a person who prefers quality over capacity, this is just the player you may want to own.

Good sound quality, Good 2.4-inch screen, Good earphones, Drag-n-Drop, Battery

No FM, Organizer Apps Missing, Need to buy Pro ver. of Software to convert videos

The Sony Walkman A726 retails for Rs.8,990 with a 1-year warranty. The price of the player for a 4GB model is equivalent to the price of an 8GB iPod Nano. Now if it's a larger capacity that you're looking to buy with a budget of 10K, then the Nano 8GB ...

Creative ZEN X-Fi

Creative Zen X-Fi

By Frazier Barretto

The Zen X-Fi seems to be a very promising MP3 player but is it better than other players that flood the market?

Good Screen, Good Audio, SD-Card Slot, FM, Battery

Sharp highs with X-Fi - ON, Poor video quality, Price

The battery of the Zen X-Fi states that it can last for 5 hours of video and 25 hours of audio. The player did provide a decent battery life with a mix-n-match of both video and audio playback. I managed to get around an hour & half of video with ...

Creative Zen Stone Plus with Speaker

Creative has tinkered with the Zen Stone Plus and added a loudspeaker to contribute to its appeal.

Great build, Custom equalizer, Bass booster, Good battery life

Bad placement of loudspeaker, Loudspeaker is somewhat shrill, Data transfer speed is low

I get a feeling that Creative wants to make its mark in the portable music player segment. It did well with the Muvo T200 and the Creative Zen Stone Plus was also well accepted. Now adding a loudspeaker to it was just a way to stand out in the crowd. ...

LG Scarlet 32-inch TV (32LG60UR)

The 32LG60UR produces good picture quality, color and contrast ratio and makes images look lively.

Great design, 50000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 4ms response time, Invisible speakers, 2x HDMI (v1.3) ports, USB port, SimpLink.

Objects appear to be unnaturally vivid in color and sharpness, Mids and lows are muffled due to invisible speakers, USB port cannot be used to play movies.

LG sent us the LC 32LG60UR, which is the 32-inch Scarlet LCD TV and having seen the ads on every television channel, I couldn't wait to get it out of the box

Philips GoGear SA1356

Philips Go Gear SA-1356/97

By Shannon Rodricks

It's a lighter, it's a Swiss Army knife, no wait, it's an MP3 player!

Stylish looks, Good voice recorder

Bad reproduction of lows and highs, Low transfer speed, Prone to smudges, Battery life, Display never goes off, Sluggish interface

The player retails at Rs 2,200. This is quite a good price and puts it in the same range as the 1GB iPod Shuffle (priced at Rs 2,500). While this player trumps the Shuffle in the looks department and possesses a display screen it is humbled when ...
