I plugged this thing into my linux machine. I went to my sound settings and selected the USB device that was now listed as the input. I opened audacity, right clicked on the microphone and selected start monitoring. Then, I could see levels and adjust...

Too much trouble

I wanted to convert some old records to mp3's. I'm pretty familiar with a variety of software and I found the supplied importing/editing software very difficult to use. I found another program with a free trial on the internet that was much easier. ...

Vibe Sound 3 Speed Turntable w/USB to PC

The quality of recordings this delivers was passable at best. Scratchy, low volume, seemed to cut off the highs and lows, poor bass, poor treble ... you get the picture. Might be a good investment if you wanted to copy spoken-word albums, but that's...
