Vosonic VP 8360 Multimedia Viewer (100GB)

With digital storage needs growing rapidly, photographers face the imminent problem of limited digital storage on the go. Quick to address the digital photographers needs is Vosonic with their VP8360.

Vosonic VP8360 review

An outside bet with promise, but sadly not triumph

Wide compatibility ; Decent credentials as a storage device

Poor video playback ; Slow to load ; Music playback very basic

Lagging behind somewhat its rivals where it counts

Vosonic VP8360 review

The Vosonic VP8360 -- or Wolverine ESP as it's known Stateside -- is a portable media player, PVR, backup drive, 7-in-1 card reader and photo viewer. It's a belter of a portable media device and at around £250 for the 80GB model it won't break the bank...

Loads of features; large screen; ease of use; great as a portable backup system.

Battery life is a little low; navigation stick is awkward to use.

Feature-packed, intuitive and affordable, this is ideal for travelling photographers and media enthusiasts alike

Vosonic VP8360

Actually a member of that strange subset of devices that's designed more for viewing digital photos than anything else, the Vosonic as a result doesn't stand quite shoulder to shoulder with other video players

Wide compatibility, Decent credentials as a storage device

Poor video playback, Slow to load, Music playback very basic

Lagging behind somewhat its rivals where it counts
