Acer Aspire One

The Acer Aspire One is better than most netbooks. It's fantastic for anyone who wants a small, cheap machine on which to type and surf the Web. However, its battery life lets it down slightly.

Great keyboard, Easy to use OS, Price, Twin SD card slots

Small, oddly designed mouse trackpad, Poor battery life

Review of Acer Aspire One A110

Netbooks seem to be the most fashionable gadget to have around. It started out with being as simple as a netbook can get and now, there's a whole different package with multi-features and different designs to pick from. Meanwhile, the …

On the whole, Acer as the brand has rarely been labeled as a ‘let-down’. That said, Acer Aspire One A110 is a basic netbook with basic features and the keyboard is great to be used so go for it if you don't mind a simple gadget on hand.

Refurbished Acer Aspire One AOA 110-1722 Netbook

Most netbooks are less expensive than larger laptop computers, but many of us may still be deterred by the price of certain desirable netbooks. There are a fair number of ...

Great value for your money ; Nice keyboard with friendly layout ; Linpus Linux is remarkably fast, even with 512MB of RAM ; LED-backlit display

Glossy surface attracts lots of fingerprints, especially on palm rest ; Trackpad and button design is odd ; Less than desirable specs, including 3-cell battery, 8GB storage, 512MB RAM ; Performance not quite as good as competitors ; Provided protective...

That said, I was quite pleased to see that the contents of the box were well protected with soft foam inserts rather than with the standard Styrofoam that you find everywhere else. Since you don’t get any formed Styrofoam, however, the contents of the...

Acer Aspire One Review

While the netbook has 802.11b/g WiFi, neither Bluetooth nor 3G wireless broadband are included. The former can be had by plugging in a USB dongle; Acer has mentioned an internal upgrade for the latter, but there's no hard news as of yet. It's 3G we're...

Acer Aspire One 751h review: Acer Aspire One 751h

Acer Aspire One 751h

Big (for a Netbook) 11.6-inch display; great keyboard.

Slower version of the Intel Atom CPU makes even basic tasks annoyingly laggy.

Acer's 11.6-inch Aspire One AO751h might usher in a new standard for Netbook sizes, but the slower-than-usual processor can lead to frustration.

Acer Aspire One review: Acer Aspire One

Acer Aspire One

Attractive, slim design; big keyboard for such a small system; affordable.

Only 512MB of RAM limits performance; wimpy battery life; no Bluetooth.

The Acer Aspire One is easily the best of the current under-$400 Netbooks, but its meager allotment of memory and tiny battery limit its appeal.
