Once you go Mac, You never go back

After using exclusively PC's for my entire life, I was convinced to buy an Apple computer by my husband two years ago. I wish I had caved and let him buy it long before that. The Apple MacBrook Pro, along with looking great, has been the most ...

Awesome customer service. Very reliable.

The bottom of the lap top can get extremely hot.

Oh how I adore my MacBook Pro

I've always been a Mac fan, but use a PC at work, so the choice of what to get for a home computer wasn't so simple. I decided to go with the Mac Book Pro and bought it at the local Apple Retail Store. Aside from it's fabulous speed, I like the backlit...

Excellent Notebook

I upgraded to this from my first gen macbook, mainly because I needed more graphics capabilities (solid 3D modeling etc.). While my old macbook wasn't slow by any means, this MBP makes it seem ancient. It chews up and spits out basically anything you...

This computer is a beast. No problems at all, even while running bootcamp. I run SolidWorks 2007 on it (for my engineering classes) with Windows XP Pro, and it manhandles it. Faster than any of the workstation computers in the labs here at Cal Poly. I...

I'm still having trouble getting used to the feel of the mushy keyboard, as it is far different from the one on my old macbook

MacBook Pro - What a Laptop Should Be!

After having owned a Sony, a couple of Dells and an HP laptop I finally made the switch to a MacBook Pro. While I've been a Windows user all my life and had no intention of switching, two things happened recently that pushed me over the edge. I bought ...

iSight cam, backlit keyboard, built in wireless, small package, simple software installation

Price, minor software issues (dropping the first letter of type at times, wireless connectivity drops)

Longtime Windows user, never looking back!!!

I like most thought long and hard about making the switch to the MAC. It is more expensive (up front) and semi-phobic when it comes to work oriented (read: MS Office products) tasks.

This is a very slick, beautiful and well engineered piece of art. The back lit keyboard is a real attention getter. All my co-workers are vastly jealous. My MBP came with OS 10.5 Leopard disc that I had to install (very easy). I did the memory upgrade...

MBP came with 160GB HD, but when I check the hardware stats on the computer is says 150GB capacity. I don't know if it is an advertising typo or maybe I am mis-understanding something

MacBook Pro - Sleek, Sexy & Useful

Overview My last experience with a mac before this was in 1998, when the operating system still looked like it did on an Atari ST from 1988, and it managed to disuade me from even considering a mac for the longest time. However, when ...

Ease of use, great design, blazing performance.

Could use more inputs, not a lot of games available, expensive compared to a PC.

Apple Mac Book Pro: plenty of bang for the buck

Why I bought this product: The main reason I bought the MacBook Pro, was because I had spilled a bowl of cereal on my other laptop, and had to purchase a replacement immediately, BUT, after everything I had heard about Windows Vista, I was just ...

Stability, lots of memory, you can multi-task without crashing.

Price (worth it!) and limited software.

Great Product

It's funny to me how certain people with no tech level what so ever who have probably never even owned or used an Apple can rate it so poorly. They are the usual Microsoft crybabies who think their operating system is the end all be all. When in fact...

I am a recent apple convert and that is saying something because my family has been trying to get me to use apple for 3 years now. So I went to my local Apple store and got me one of these. It far surpasses anything that I have used previously with a...

Apple's are notoriously pricey but with how mine is performing and its ability to run both Vista and OS X for me it is worth the price

I'm* converting, and that's really saying something

Why,IMO,my conversion carries some weight: My first computer was a 386 with Windows 3.0. 3 years later I took a job at Microsoft where I spent nearly 10 years. In that time I worked behind the technical scenes on the releases of ~9 versions of...

100% OS/Hardware compatibility. PC-based Hardware. Better performance than Windows on the same hardware. (Less bloat / overhead) Mac OS X 2.5 has native support for joining Windows domains. (That would be just about every company you could work for...

The price is *not* that bad when you consider the pros. It's part of the deal when you buy something that no one competes with "apples to apples", no pun intended
