It arrived new and in the retail package, with the box in perfect condition, so my beef isn't with newegg at all. I'll probably contact Griffin some time soon to see if I can remedy this. I'm fairly confident it's just a one in a million thing. Also,...

this computer rocks!!Apple comes through again!!

great mobile comp

I used to be the type of PC user who wasn't just indifferent to Macs, but thought that people who owned Macs were actually stupid. Because Macs cost more and don't have as much software and can't play games. Well, it may be true that they cost more...

I've been a PC user for at least 15 years and I can't say that I'll ever go back. I bought a 7 year old Power Mac about a year ago at a local auction for <$100. That 7 year old Mac ran better than my 4 year old PC. For any PC user sitting on the...

Be sure that you actually need a mobile computer as you have to be somewhat diligent about battery maintenance. Otherwise your battery will lose its charge faster over the long run. New batteries cost about $130. Also, if you're burning a disc, be sure...

20 Years Ahead of it's time

I've work as an IT specialist for 4 years and hated macs before. then i was forced to learn it for school, ever since then my pc has been used only for downloading, nothing more. :D

Very intuitive

The keyboard isn't as comfortable to type in as in the previous g4 ibook and powerbooks.

never though i would like mac this much

this is my first mac, and i love it, but there are still a lot of things you can only do on a PC. I would advise buying this module and upgrading the ram yourself (2 Gigs, $50) and the HD from a 5400 rpm to 7200 rpm (%90) instead of buying a different...

great form factor, battery is great, wireless N. save hundreds of dollars to upgrade the ram and HD youself (anyone can do it)

can't upgrade processor or video card, and the list of compatible programs and codecs doesn't compare to a windows.

Apple delivers again!

Purchase a 2x1GB DDR2 set - it will boost system performance a bunch, especially if you're planning on running Vista and/or Parallels Desktop, and games. Sandpapering the sides of the laptop also helps to rid of the sharp edges.

I have owned a different model - the 1.83 GHz model - but I am still satisfied. The screen is very bright and the new keyboard format is comfortable to type on and prevents crumbs from falling into the keyboard. Applications were fairly fast and...

When I first got the unit, the display frame was loose - I had to send it back to the Apple Store to get it repaired, which left me without a laptop for about a week. The edges are also very sharp, which can cause slight pain around the wrists. As most...

Recent Mac Convert

If you plan to use Parallels (or other heavy programs), 1GB might not be enough. I upgraded to 3GB and I haven't had to wait for anything since.

Very compact

None, but see below.

This is the 3rd Mac I have had the fortune of owning. The others are a G5 and a Mac Mini. This is a great laptop! I build custom PC's as a hobby, and am used to dealing with Windows operating systems, I would recommend a Mac laptop over almost any...

Alright battery life

It is a Mac

This is a great little package that is ultra portable and stylish to boot. Everything is designed and laid out well. Like windows, OS-X is as simple or complicated as you want - but it takes some getting used to. Generally speaking it can be better at...

It's form factor is it's biggest strength - small and lightweight. Very nice processor power for such a small notebook. Amazing battery life. OS-X.

It's form factor is also it's biggest weakness in that despite being nice and portable, it can get crowded thanks to the size if you like a lot of things open. You can boost the resolution, but then you run into the lack of video RAM which can be a...
