Excellent choice

 

Fast, sleek, well designed. Works really well hooked to a apple Thunderbolt Display in clamshell mode. Works just like a desktop and unhook 2 wires put it in a bag and you're off. Mountain Lion is great and integrates flawlessly with a iPhone or iPad...

Held back by the HDD

 

If you're goin to go to this price tier, do yourself a favor and buy a 256GB SSD and appropriate screwdriver to remove the back (as described by Ifixit). Follow their complete instructions to install your SSD. My MacBook Pro 13" base model with an SSD...

This is an excellent high powered machine. Will run all programs in OSX like butter. Gets you access to the OSX ecosystem and windows ecosystem in the same machine. The sturdiest and sleekest design you will find. If you're looking for professional...

The system is sadly held back by the HDD. You will notice the CPU rarely taxed, even when running dual systems. Any hesitation in the system is caused by the underpowered HDD

To the one star review below, what ignorance you display. No upgradeability? This laptop supports at least 16 Gb's RAM, and the HDD is a piece of cake to swap out. I put an SSD in mine. As for the rest of the hardware, I've never seen a laptop that had...

newegg why do you even sell this computer? this is a tech website. while i know people who would pay 2200 for a under powered computer none of them would ever visit this site... just a thought. buy this instead...

none. its a mac. nuff said ; well it has a fast i7 thats it

what do you get for 2200? a fast i7, 650m graphics with (1GDDR5 VRAM). 8gb of ram... no upgradeability. a 5400 rpm hdd XD. so sad... a 900p moniter. very questionable cooling solutions
