Pretty good computer

The computer was purchased while it was on sale for $360. The machine works great for on the go gaming thanks to the AMD APU and also works great for HD video viewing (it will handle Blu-Ray!). Games such as TF2 can hold 50FPS with Anti-aliasing but...

Great Graphics Performance, responsive, well-built for a cheaper machine, decent battery life, runs cool, UEFI and USB 3.0 Support

Machine's stock image was initially slow on the installed 5400RPM disk from Western Digital. Some running of xbootmgr and cleaning off of some unneeded pre-installed software worked around this ; Sometimes gets into a state where it will fail to...

weak case

This laptop is very good for the pricepoint, just make sure to get a well padded or hard sided case.

Fast after removing bloatware and adding another 4 gig ramstick.Screen resolution and brightness are very good

Case ,especially the lid is very flimsy. My daughters cat(approx 8lbs) jumped on the lid and trashed the screen, the pc was closed and off,but the screen has a virtual crack and ~70% is greyed out and unusable.I had just registered the unit for Asus's...

Great Deal

Even with the price going up, i think this is still a worth while buy.

Excellent price when I bought it. 360. for a quad can't be beat. Off the bat it runs smooth, and I think I made a good choice

It is a bit slow as noted by others, but that is an easy fix

Great notebook

Great buy @ $360. Screen res. is stellar

Small HDD, and ram. Not a deal breaker

Great deal!

get it. you won't regret it.

I bought two of these for my small business, and as others have done i upgraded the ram to 8gbs and a fresh install of windows 7 on a 128gb SSD. these laptops function quite well for the price and i would definitely buy them again

speakers could've been a bit better, but its not worth removing an egg IMO

I'm so happy! With the exception of the volume max.

I read all of the reviews I could find before purchasing this, and every pro is already listed elsewhere

The only con for me is that the volume does not get as loud as I would have hoped for

Great!

For 400 bucks and a great warranty, there's no way I could beat this deal anywhere else on a budget. This is an outstanding upgrade from that puny netbook I've been using. Newegg is the best!

As stated earlier, a quad-core for $359 bucks is unbeatable. An 8 GB RAM upgrade was 41 dollars extra. Shipment was fast and everything came out of the box in perfect condition

The only things I can say are cons, and they aren't really, is that the OS partition takes up a lot more space than it needs. Easily fixed ; I'd also like higher resolution, but it's bearable

wow..

overall..very nice laptop for the price.

Asus/Price ; 359 dollars for a quad core laptop??? that's a deal ; Can run diablo 3 on low setting without any problem

None

Fast, inexpensive computer.

The APU in this laptop is directly supported by AMD. This means that you can get the latest drivers from the AMD website, instead of using outdated drivers from the manufacture website! A good plus!

Very reliable and stable middle line budget laptop. Doesn't ever get very hot even when I'm playing a couple of Free to Play games. Quad core! Two years ago a quad core laptop would have cost $1000+! USB Ports are very snug and secure, unlike my older...

Comes with some junk/bloat on it like any other retail computer. Wiped and did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate
