ASUS Eee PC 1015PN review

It's not a secret: ASUS likes to roll out many (and we mean many!) variations of the same laptop. However, while most of the time the differences between the v...

Asus 1025C review: Asus 1025C

The Asus Eee PC 1025C Flare has amazing battery life, and is probably the least expensive Windows 7 laptop you'll find.

Just about everything else is substandard. A machine like this was acceptable a few years ago, but it just doesn't cut it in the post-iPad world.

Asus brought Netbooks into the world, and with the last-gasp Eee PC 1025C Flare, it looks like it's going to take them out as well.

Asus Eee PC 1015B

The Asus Eee PC 1015B offers a basic netbook for under $300, a price low enough to overlook a few flaws, like slow performance and a cramped keyboard.

Stylish design. HDMI has 1080p output. All day battery life.

Sluggish performance. Small hard drive. Cramped keyboard.

Asus EeePC 1015PEM

Asus doesn't raise the price of its 10-inch EeePC 1015PEM, even though it now runs on a dual-core Intel Atom processor.

Dual-core Atom. Seashell design is slim and attractive. Affordable. Big battery included. Superb battery life. Lightweight.

92% keyboard is small-looking compared with the rest of the field. Mouse buttons need tweaking.

Asus Eee PC 1015PEM-PU17 review: Asus Eee PC 1015PEM-PU17

Asus Eee PC 1015PEM-PU17

Long battery life; dual-core Atom processor offers better multitasking speeds; cost for a dual-core Atom configuration isn't much more than for the single-core alternative.

Cramped keyboard; streaming full-screen videos don't look much better than on single-core Atom Netbooks; lacks HD screen and HD accelerated graphics.

For only a slight price increase over its single-core cousins, the Asus Eee PC 1015PEM's dual-core Atom CPU handles multitasking better, but this Netbook doesn't offer the features or performance we've seen in higher-priced "premium" alternatives.

Asus Eee PC 1015PED

If you're familiar with Asus's Eee PC series of netbooks, the vendor's $369 Eee PC 1015PED will hold few surprises for you. It has softer, more rounded appearance than previous models, such as last spring's Eee PC 1001P-MU17 and Eee PC 1201N. Other...

Nice keyboard and Bluetooth ; Excellent battery life

Pricey for what you get ; Poor video performance

This stylish netbook has great battery life, but it doesn't handle high-definition video well.

Review Asus Eee PC 1011CX Netbook

Unspectacular. In February, Asus presented their new Eee PC 1011CX with an Intel Atom N2600 dual-core CPU and a 10.1 inch display, along with six other models. The chassis, however, has only changed to a limited extent over these years. In this review,...

HDMI output ; Pleasant input devices ; Bright and high contrast display ; Suitable for outdoor use ; Passive cooling system ; Power consumption and battery life

Legacy case design ; No USB 3.0 or Bluetooth 4.0 ; Limited upgradability ; Only 12 month warranty ; Meager system performance ; High temperatures with a high load ; Average speaker quality

The fact that Asus hasn't used the newly acquired space from the absent cooling system for adding new features

This 10-inch netbook has an AMD Fusion processor with AMD Radeon graphics and retails for just $289. Is it really any better than those boring netbooks with Intel Atom processors? Read our review to find out.
