Max Payne 3 Benchmarked

Lord of Bullet Time. After a perceived eternity, Max Payne returns to our home computer screens. The third part was not developed by Remedy, but by GTA studio Rockstar. Aside from strengths and weaknesses, this article illuminates game performance with...

Those seeking to play the game in high detail will require an upper-middle class GPU such as the GeForce GT 640M, provided they are willing to sacrifice tessellation which drained a lot of performance in our testing. If tessellation is a must, one...

Review Asus Eee PC 1011CX Netbook

Unspectacular. In February, Asus presented their new Eee PC 1011CX with an Intel Atom N2600 dual-core CPU and a 10.1 inch display, along with six other models. The chassis, however, has only changed to a limited extent over these years. In this review,...

HDMI output ; Pleasant input devices ; Bright and high contrast display ; Suitable for outdoor use ; Passive cooling system ; Power consumption and battery life

Legacy case design ; No USB 3.0 or Bluetooth 4.0 ; Limited upgradability ; Only 12 month warranty ; Meager system performance ; High temperatures with a high load ; Average speaker quality

The fact that Asus hasn't used the newly acquired space from the absent cooling system for adding new features

Review Asus Eee PC 1015PX Netbook

1015PX = R051PX? Asus unleashes another netbook onto the market w

Usual Asus quality; The Seashell design still looks good; Chiclet keyboard and touchpad; Quiet; Very cool; Long battery life; Matte display

Expandability; Poor performance; No Bluetooth; Poor speakers; Low-contrast display, extremely high black levels

For one thing, competition comes from the same manufacturer, namely the Asus EeePC 1015PEM, which doesn't have the N570, yet manages to be an almost identical device to the 1015PEM. Alternatives with Intel Atom N570 are the Acer Aspire one Happy 2 or...

ASUS Eee PC 1015PX - Value for Money Redefined

ASUS' previous netbook, the 1015PEM seemed to be quite decent in terms of performance and while it wasn't the best, it still made for a good netbook. Now with the 1015PX, I definitely hope that ASUS is trying to bring in something different here. ...

The ASUS 1015PX has a good design, is pretty much loaded in terms of features and performs as good as any average netbook. However, it deserves to be called value for money because at Rs. 12,999, the netbook is priced a lot lower than the rest of these...

ASUS Eee PC 1015PEM: A Lightweight Companion

We've already established that netbooks are power-efficient and are very affordable. Prices have dropped further over the last year. With the introduction of dual-core Atom processors on some of these models, users expect better performance as well....

The ASUS Eee PC 1015PEM is priced at Rs. 20,999, which is decent for a dual core processor netbook. You don’t get a whole lot more for the additional price but at the same time, it's not much more than a single core processor netbook. We like the nifty...

ASUS Eee PC 1025C

Once upon a time, cheap, tiny laptops ruled the land, acting as travel, backup, and kids' computers to millions, and completely upending what consumers expected to pay for a PC. Those laptops were called Netbooks, and starting in 2007 they exploded out...

The Asus Eee PC 1025C Flare has amazing battery life, and is probably the least expensive Windows 7 laptop you'll find.

Just about everything else is substandard. A machine like this was acceptable a few years ago, but it just doesn't cut it in the post-iPad world.

Asus brought Netbooks into the world, and with the last-gasp Eee PC 1025C Flare, it looks like it's going to take them out as well.

Asus Eee PC 1015B

The Asus Eee PC 1015B offers a basic netbook for under $300, a price low enough to overlook a few flaws, like slow performance and a cramped keyboard.

Stylish design. HDMI has 1080p output. All day battery life

Sluggish performance. Small hard drive. Cramped keyboard
