barely usable keyboard

My first netbook; running linux (debian 6.0.3 amd64). Functionally pretty great. But the keyboard is barely usable; shift seems to respond only when it's in the mood. The touchpad buttons are really hard to click, and when you do, the position sensor...

A Decent Deal

Don't expect the speed you'd get out of a full-size laptop, but this nice-looking netbook is worth every penny of its bargain-bin price. PROS: Slim; lightweight; beautiful brushed-aluminum casing; good-sized hard drive; great battery life; is able to...

great value for the price

Optimal balance of convenience & features. Would benefit from a faster processor chip, but it would have to cost more. Adequate for most web purposes & basic word processing, etc.

Glossy screen

When ordering this netbook over the phone I spoke with a rep and specified a netbook with a matte finish non glossy screen. I use this in the car and outdoors where glossy type screens have excess reflective glare. The rep said in error that the screen...

Good Computer

I started up the computer and it ran nicely, the first thing I did was download ubuntu and put 11.04 on the computer which it handled nicely. I would recommend this computer to others.

You get what you pay for

So I jumped on one of these units. I've had good luck in the past with refurbished equipment but there's always a first. Right out of the box, this netbook would not charge the battery.
