Slightly slower and more expensive than standard Netbooks
Swelling the ranks of 11.6-inch Netbooks, the Asus Eee PC 1101HA impresses with its design and battery, but having to overclock a slower version of Intel's Atom CPU is a dodgy workaround.
The company has subsequently done a good job of refining and expanding on the...

Lackluster performance, Picks up fingerprints easily
Above the display, a 1.3-megapixel webcam provided clear images in a Skype video chat. Our chat buddy was able to see fine details on our face, and saw little motion blur when we waved quickly. The speakers, located at the bottom front edge of the ...
It's no secret that Intel and Microsoft have a firm grip on what a netbook may or may not use in terms of features and parts; hence the many look-alikes in this pervasive category. But there are a handful of them that are considered exceptions to the ...
Gorgeous 11.6-inch widescreen. Desirable screen resolution. Very slim and light. Battery is designed almost flush with the base. Excellent battery life
Keyboard only 92 percent for an oversized netbook. Atom Z520 processor is a little sluggish. Not the cheapest 11.6-inch netbook ; Watch our ASUS EeePC 1101HA video review
While most of its features keep it in line with any other netbook, the ASUS EeePC 1101HA has an 11.6-inch widescreen and 1,366-by-768 resolution that set it apart.
The ASUS EeePC 1101HA ($430 street) is one of maybe three netbooks that use...
For all my griping though I would buy this again. I think it is the best netbook on the market currently, and I'm very happy with it. I spend my whole day at school 2x week and with this netbook I can do everything I want/need to do with total freedom.
I bought this just over a month ago and am generally very happy with it. My biggest worry was that the power cable would pop in and out as people were saying. Thankfully Asus fixed this problem and now after a little breaking in it inserts and removes onl...
1 The netbook needs to be white or matte. The fingerprints are gross
One of my jobs is as a computer salesman so I've sold many netbooks over the last year or two. This is the first netbook I've owned though. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase. None of the cons I listed above really bug me that much.
Great battery life
No SSD (all netbooks should have SSDs)
Battery life is about 8 hours with realtime use in Win7 Build 7600. Competitors offer more features like a larger HDD and 2GB RAM for almost $50 less.
Small - Hardly any bigger than the 10" Model. There is less trim around the LCD allowing for this. Screen is bright, and very sharp. 1366x768 res screen in 11". Able to use all programs now due to a higher resolution. Lightweight and sleek, ergonomic desi...
Terrible Windows 7 support. A very large percentage of people are already running windows 7 where possible. Cannot overclock if there is more than 1GB of RAM installed and if running Win7. The 1.3GHz Z520 is extremely weak, making even simple things hard...
