Great CPU/Bad Hard Drive

I see now that I'm not the only one with this issue. No way I could of foreseen this and I knew what I was getting into with a Refurb. Hopefully ASUS will make this relatively painless.

Impulse buy...

I've wanted to replace my desktop i3 machine for a while. Immediately ditched Winblows for xUbuntu 13 encrypted root. Everything works. Was a refurb on sale. Definitely worth it. It's not a powerhouse, but it's not meant to be. Thanks to not wasting...

Says waht it does and does waht it says. Got it on sale for less than I paid for a much less powerful netbook only a few weeks ago. 500GB drive. HDMI. It's significantly faster than my higher clocked desktop i3, haven't looked into why that is yet....

Max RAM is 8GB. Low Rez monitor

Wins 8 is a joke

Does not boot up second time. It makes very high pitch noise and can't turn it off until disconnect the battery. In process of returning for a replacement

Awesome laptop for the price

I prep all Windows 8 computers with the Classic Shell start menu and show the customer how to use the standard desktop. After seeing that Windows 8 is not the OS from hell the customer buys the unit with no problem. Out of the last 15 sales I only lost...

These are high quality refurbs. I purchased three for resale and sold all three in a week. All are in excellent/like new condition. Good job ASUS and NEWEGG

i guess i get to deal with rma, i hope new egg will take care of this and i dont have to go through asus. newegg support says they open at 5:30am when you call they say 7:30, update the site please.

Looks nice and has a numberpad

dead on arrival. sees the harddrive in the bios, but wont boot the os, no bootable drive found. Scratch above the computer and it looked like the battery was put in the pc, had some scratches were the battery was. i wonder if someone bought it and...

Asus X55C-XH31 15.6" LED Notebook

dual core with hyperthreading is very nice and quick. the click pad is awsome and that makes this product win 8 ready. the overall look, feel and weight is nice.
