Great Book

Can the reviewer who got two gigs of RAM to work in this netbook please post what type of RAM you used? I don't want to perform a "trial and error" type of test like the other reviewer. I want to buy the right stuff and have it work from the start....

Just what I needed to carry around and get stuff done. Not a power-house, not supposed to be, but it does what it's designed to do. Good wifi and overall smoothness for everyday operations out on the road. It's also nice to tap around on the internet...

Once the bloatware is gone this thing moves better. I used CCleaner to remove all the stuff Gateway had starting up - works smooth now. I miss my 10-key pad but on a 10" notebook it's just not going to happen :)

Big Battery for Cheap

This review was written on my new LT2108u. The picture shows a solid red design bu there is actually light gray lines that break up the solid color.

With a sleek stylish design I was very impressed with the finish of this netbook. Having nice style was just a perk. I would mention performance but all of these entry level netbooks are about the same. The sturdy feel leaves me hoping that I will...

The scroll section on the track pad is a bit small as is the backspace key( i have normal size hands). The web cam could have better resolution and I would like to have blue tooth built in

Does accept 2 GB sticks

This netbook looks great. I thought about buying a black netbook at first, but I selected red instead. The pattern on the lid looks great red. The red is similar to the shade in the newegg pic to the left (on my monitor, at least).

Accepts 2 GB of ram ; Win 7 Starter - Works well with these netbooks because it seems to have a relatively low ram footprint ; N450 - much faster than I expected with 1 GB of ram; speed increased significantly with 2 GB ; Very peppy

A little bit of bloat wear, of course, but is easily removed in control panel
