Good, inexpensive laptop

I emailed US Micro about the DOA battery and they got back to me as soon as customer service hours started again. They sent a new battery right away, and I got it in two business days. I'd have no problem buying another refurb from them.

Clean and well-built laptop. Very nice scissor keys on the keyboard, touchpad is high quality too. Powerful enough for the vast majority of tasks. I used this model at work for years and it's always been reliable

Came with a Hitachi hard drive. Battery was DOA (wouldn't take a charge), but US Micro customer service was great

Good performance, excellent value

If you're looking for an inexpensive laptop (got this for the mid 200's) that gives good performance with today's apps, then this is an excellent choice. The Elitebook series are well-made, sturdy, and the refurbishing jobs done on these are solid.

This system runs Windows 7 Pro very well, even with 4 GB. Adding another 4 GB makes it a nice substitute for a desktop. The wireless controller built in gives a strong signal, and the overall software installation is a no-nonsense, no-frills install...

Some signs of cosmetic wear on the glide point, but this is refurb, and the system works perfectly fine

I have never purchased a refurb PC or laptop before so initially I was a bit concerned. The box comes in a plain brown box and once i opened it, I was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and nicely packaged in this plastic/cardboard piece. There...

fast and clean~ got my money's worth and some! warranty looks good

got a little over an hour for battery, but considering this is a refurb unit- i'm kind of suprised it lasted that long especially with the programs that were running

It's an i5, with 4 gig RAM, but I don't want to buy a battery for this!!!! I'm willing to drop money on a larger HD.

Battery or Power connector at MOBO inop. 0% available, plugged in, not charging

Only 6 Monhs

If you want a computer that works great for 6 months and the dire. Then buy this one. No wonder It only has a 90day warranty..

This laptop came all setup and worked great

After 6 months of use the computer suddenly made a click sound and went black. Stone cold dead

Nice for the price.

For college students buy laptop then download MS office from school bookstore with your id $15 and you are ready to go under $300

To start with extremely rugged construction, docking station compatible. Great for college students. Not the newest version processor but so much faster than the machine it replaced. No Bloatware that comes with new machines. Clean and ready to go....

Not so good of a deal

This isn't the worst refurbish I've ever seen. It's great as long as you never want to change anything about it. Spent more on making it work then it cost. If you don't have the knowledge to hack a bios, stay away.

Cheap. Cool keyboard light

Bios comes locked via the company that owned it before it was refurbished, Video ram is locked via HP @ 64MB's, Hard drive screw comes stripped

Nice

I bought this laptop to use during my deployment and had it all shipped to me for $270. It's been awesome for the price I don't even miss the money. My refurb does show wear, the keyboard is worn, and the case looks like it may have saved someones life...

Price ; Aluminum brushed features keep my wrist cool and not clammy ; Sturdy with Smart Card reader + lots of ports ; Original gangster keyboard illumination light that'll put the ladies in the mood. MMM mmmm ; Lid locks closed with a nice sturdy latch...

No webcam, but comes preinstalled with Skype. Wut da fuh? lol ; Tracking number didn't work oh well it got here ; Battery life. Replacement AC converter cheapy (China) but works
