HP Mini 1151nr

The slim, sleek HP Mini 1000 remains, in some ways, the pinnacle of Netbook development, with its whisper-thin design and large edge-to-edge keyboard. Verizon is now offering a 3G-enabled version of this system, called the Mini 1151NR, as part of a...

HP's already excellent Netbook adds 3G; subsidized Verizon price.

Expensive total cost of ownership with two-year data contract; fewer ports and connections than other Netbooks.

The HP Mini 1151NR's marriage of 3G with a Netbook feels like an obvious mashup of two useful technologies, but the overall package ends up being somewhat expensive.

HP Mini 1151NR

Mobile computing is tough for international travelers. You may have a mobile wireless card from a U.S. phone carrier, but if it's a CDMA card you won't be able to use it in Europe, and if it's a GSM card, you won't be able to use it in much of Asia....

Built-in dual EV-DO Rev A.; small and light; bright LCD screen; large keyboard keys

Short battery life; vertical mouse buttons; only two USB jacks; short LCD screen; no 802.11n

The 1151NR is just $199.99 with subscription, but we don't think it's worth locking yourself up for two years with this netbook...

HP Mini 1151NR (Verizon Wireless)

This affordable and compact mobile broadband-enabled netbook offers good connectivity but short endurance.

While not exactly a steal, the $199 HP Mini 1151NR offers pretty good bang for your buck. The keyboard is top-notch, and we appreciate its ability to connect to the Web without having to rely on an external broadband card. On the other hand, we would...

Verizon HP Mini 1151NR hands-on and impressions

We got our hands on the Verizon HP Mini 1000 (or, as it's more properly known in this form, the 1151NR) recently, and we've taken the little guy -- and its built-in 3G card -- for a spin. The Mini itself has a standard enough spec sheet: a 1.6GHz Intel...

Attractive form factor ; Nice chiclet keyboard ; Easy out of the box set up

Slow scrolling through large webpages ; Battery drains relatively quickly ; Expensive overall cost of ownership

HP Mini 1151NR Netbook Review

We were recently impressed with Verizon's latest Mobile Broadband device, the MiFi 2200, as you could connect 5 devices to it wirelessly via Wi-Fi and all of them would be connected to the Internet. Now Verizon has raised the bar with the introduction...

HP Mini 1151NR Netbook â€" Reviewed

The HP Mini 1151NR netbook is a special member of HP's Mini netbook series being offered by Verizon Wireless in conjunction with a mobile broadband package. In this review, we'll concentrate on the netbook itself and see how well it performs.

The HP Mini 1151NR Netbook Review

The HP Mini 1151 NR Netbook has a lot to offer with a 1.60 GHz Intel Atom processor and 1024 GB ram installed into the notebook. HP has merged two powerful technologies with 3G, the 1.60 processor, the amount of ram and the small size. The HP Mini...

"More than what I expected!!"

I am so pleased with this that i will give then for Christmas gifts for close family members. I've noted some reveiws that talked about glares and pixesl and Verizon has accessories for this for a minimal cost. Some want erverything included but this...

Mini refers not just to size but HP service

I wanted to like this product a lot. If it worked as touted, it would fit my needs and the cost would be outweighed by the combined technical team of Verizon and HP. My device came without the printed guide and the installed HP User Guides were NOT...

Sleek looking with wide keys and afairly non-reflective screen. 3G and an improved VerizonAccessManager are nifty starting points although heavy web browsing can add up your monthly usage rapidly. I liked the sound quality

Just pray your device NEVER has a problem. Of the 5 techs I spoke to, only 2 knew how to turn the device on! Ignorance of a product has never seemed so monumental. Techs were unaware of the back up system and gave unclear instructions. Ghastly
