Review Lenovo IdeaPad Z500 Notebook

Balanced. The IdeaPad Z500-MBYG2GE is aimed at performance hungry

Balanced components; Unique power adapter design; Good bundled applications; Moderate weight; Large hard disk; Slim build; Successful design; Great performance

Low brightness display with glare and poor viewing angles; High temperature emission under load; Few connection interfaces; No upgrade options; Non-removable battery; Outdated GPU driver; Fast Ethernet LAN only; Loud DVD burner; Unstable keyboard

15-inch multimedia notebooks, which cost less than 1,000 Euros. Either based on Nvidia graphics: Acer Aspire V3-571G, Asus N56VB, Fujitsu Lifebook AH532, Medion Akoya P6815 and MSI GE60. Or on AMD solutions: Dell Inspiron 15R-5521, HP Envy m6-1101sg...

Bad Lenovo Service

The Machine comes with UEFI secure boot which can be a pain if you wana upgrade the hard drive. To reach the hard drive and ram you have to pretty much unassemble the whole laptop.

Solid build, looks good, nice specs

The machine does not come with the Windows 8 product key that is associated with the license already paid for in the price. The Lenovo Customer Service kept insisting on selling me a new one instead of providing the key the was already paid for
