Samsung NF310-A01

With the latest dual-core Atom processor, high-resolution screen, and a great user experience, the Samsung NF310-A01 is our new Editors' Choice for netbooks.

Dual-core Atom. High-resolution screen. Full-size keyboard. Wide touchpad and soft mouse buttons. Reasonably priced. Over 7 hours of battery life. Easy to upgrade memory

Glossy top is a little dated

Review Samsung NF310 Netbook

Shark-Design. If mini, then at least with style. The swinging forms are conspicuous, the case is grippy in the hand, and the matte HD Ready display gives good oversight of the desktop. Does the Dual-Core shark also impress in terms of battery life?

Good battery life, Matte and bright display, Usable performance, HD Ready resolution, Well manufactured, Quiet and cool, Good touchpad, Well laid out keyboard, Usable speakers, Bright, matte, and with a high resolution - what a 10.1 inch panel should...

Few interfaces, No access to the HDD, Low contrast, And now a little Nvidia ION 2 graphics, that would have been the perfect Netbook heavy weight

Best-value netbook

The Samsung NF310 netbook won't outperform more powerful machines with AMD Fusion processors, but it's a solid performer in the netbook class, with a respectable hardware lineup and an attractive price. Unlike still less expensive netbooks, it's...

Dual-core Intel Atom processor faster than some previous models, curvy design, beautiful HD screen, full-sized keyboard

Outpaced by current AMD Fusion processor-based models, lacks top-end features like HDMI, not everyone is a fan of the design

Samsung NF310 review - Liliputing

Samsung NF310 review

There are a lot of things to like about the Samsung NF310. It may not have the latest high power graphics chip, or the fastest CPU available for a 10 inch mini-laptop. But it does have a low power dual core Atom processor which offers slightly better...

Samsung NF310 review

The Samsung NF310 is a bit larger than your typical 10 inch netbook. That's not to make space for the high definition screen… it's still just 10.1 inches. Instead, the extra space makes room for a sort of wavy design on the sides of the case, which...

Fantastic Netbook. Well worth the money

With a fresh install of windows 7 ultimate and after the appropriate drivers are installed, this machine is a pleasure to use. Samsung set a new netbook standard with the NF310

High resolution display, fast processor, excellent keyboard and design. Battery life is superb

only 1 GB of memory (2GB should be included), way too much unwanted software ships with the device. Reinstalling windows is a pain because many of the drivers need to be downloaded from samsung and installed manually

Buy It

Because netbooks are limited in what they do I always have my eyes open for the best one. This one came out towards the end of 2010 but I look at the specs of even newer models and this one still smokes them. Especially because of the features listed...

Resolution (best among any netbook out today) ; Appearance ; Speakers/Sound ; Spacious keyboard ; N555 Dual Core Processor

No HDMI (seeing how capable this netbook is I'm surprised to see that they failed to include an HDMI output ; Metalic look is plastic of course and can scratch easy ; Needs improvement on steaming capabilities. With the great specs on this netbook you...

Great netbook!!

I bought this laptop to replace one of the early eeePC's I had. Looking specifically for something small and portable for basic travel needs but slightly larger to accommodate a wider screen. Love this laptop, its perfect. This laptop is worth the...

high resolution and wide screen format. small compact size. good battery life ; This laptop oozes quality. The keyboard, mouse pad, and really every other part of the laptop have a great high quality feel. The laptop looks sharp

I would have preferred a slightly lower cost instead of the fancy enclosure design. Its a little pricey compared to similar offerings with a lower resolution screen

Great w/Ubuntu 10.10

Doubled the RAM and moved much of the temp file stoage to a RAMdisk to lessen the R/W cycles on the SSD even though the linux kernel supports TRIM.

Good Battery life (>7 hrs) ; Samsung Tools work well in Ubuntu ; Boots in about 20 seconds (w/Intel X25-V SSD) ; High Resolution screen

Came w/lots of crapware ; Upgraded to Home Premium and found many of the Fn keys wouldn't work ; Battery life didn't come close to the advertised length (<6 hrs w/Home Premium)
