Vizio CT15-A1

In case you haven't heard about them yet—or seen them for sale—HDTV maker Vizio has stepped into the computer market this year with a few impressively thin, aesthetically interesting laptops and desktop PCs. On the desktop front, the company rolled out...

Great, high-resolution screen ; Slim, sleek design ; Very fast boot time, thanks to a 128GB solid-state drive

Unrounded edges can make the laptop uncomfortable to carry or use for long periods ; Keyboard lacks travel and backlight ; Touch pad and keyboard feel cheap ; Poor battery life ; No Ethernet port or card reader

A great 1080p screen, an eye-pleasing design, and a killer price make Vizio's 15.6-inch ultrabook attractive on paper and in person. But it can be uncomfortable to use for a few reasons, and its battery life is brief.

Great screen but track pad mouse makes this one a no-go!

I read the reviews about this laptop and the issues with the trackpad. I noticed a new driver on the Vizio website and took a chance on it. I downloaded the new driver and noticed no difference at all. Bottom line is that the trackpad is a dud. Mouse...

Great Ultrabook with a huge BUT

It's a great ultrabook at an approachable price - if you use an external mouse. The included Sentelic "Finger Sensing Pad" and their drivers is the biggest piece of [...]. If you don't mind your touchpad behaving like it's drunk 75% of the time and...

Almost perfect - but the flaws are serious

There is so much to like about this laptop - the screen, the price, the build - that it seems churlish to quibble. But there are two serious problems: the trackpad is awful out of the box, and only borderline acceptable once you have updated the...
