Ridge Racer 3D

Ridge Racer first appeared on consoles as a launch title for the first PlayStation all that time ago and has since spread through various consoles like wildfire, with barely a system since its release escaping the arcade-y racing goodness. In case...

Do you have a Nintendo 3DS? Do you like racing games? Well, Ridge Racer 3D is for you. No, it's not the greatest racing game out there, but it's a solid enough entry on the new platform and worth picking up. It makes a decent use of 3D, offers up more...

Nice sense of speed ; Solid blend of arcade and realistic racing ; Plenty of racing game for the money

No online multiplayer (and only 4 per local match) ; Too much repetition in courses early on

Essentially, Ridge Racer 3D is a decent racing game, but it could have been better. It's a launch title for the Nintendo 3DS, but actually has enough polish to it so as to make it feel like an actual release rather than simply something to capitalize...

The crown prince of drift games comes to the all new 3DS and Namco Bandai have pulled yet another fine incarnation of this classic racer onto the hand held. Ridge Racer hasn't changed much since the first game hit the arcades. Sure, graphics have...

Ridge Racer 3D (Nintendo 3DS) Review

Another new console, another new Ridge Racer. Is Ridge Racer a must have for the new Nintendo 3DS? Find out inside.

So you just bought a new Nintendo 3DS, what game do you buy? Out of all the launch titles I’ve played Ridge Racer is easily one of the best. All 3 of Nintendo's games are fun but lack any real depth or longevity. Street Fighter is fun but they...

Racing games are totally better in 3D.

Fun and easy-to-learn mechanics ; 3D graphics improve the game ; Car designs are interesting ; Circle Pad is amazing

No online ; Track repetition ; Annoying announcer

Anyone know how many unique tracks are in the game? I am on the fence about this game and that number will make a big impact on which way I swing here! First Career Post on Nintendo World Report!!!

Namco's long-running racing series makes its Nintendo 3DS debut with Ridge Racer 3D. Utilizing the system's stereoscopic display, Ridge Racer 3D brings you closer to the action with the ability to accurately gauge the space between rivals while tearing up

Ridge Racer 3D review

If there's any racing game series that deserves to be called ubiquitous then Ridge Racer definitely fits the bill. Sure, EA rolls out Need for Speed these days to just about anything with a processor and a screen, but Ridge Racer has now appeared on so...

It's a classic Ridge Racer game, 3D effect works well

Doesn't really add anything new outside of 3D, graphically a bit rough round the edges

This is definitely one of the better DS launch titles, but if you’re looking for something fresh and new, then Ridge Racer 3D might be a little disappointing

With a focus on accessibility and high-speed action, Ridge Racer 3D is reaching out to arcade racing fans old and new.
