Manfrotto 190XPROB/804 Head

By (techradar.com)

We think this Manfrotto tripod is good without being great

Lightweight ; Flexible ; Cheap

Not very solid or sturdy

Manfrotto's 804 three-way head is quite compact, thanks to its short handles, but a little 'sticky' in its movements

The 190XPROB is a straightforward mid-range tripod from Manfrotto, but with a...

Manfrotto 190XPROB

By (photoanswers.co.uk)

The Manfrotto 190XPROB has a robust build and solid construction, all packed into a well-made frame that's reasonably light for carrying around. Two of the legs on the Manfrotto 190XPROB include padded leg warmers, and there's a built-in bubble spirit ...

Are these the perfect pins for the field photographer? Probably not, but at well under £100 the balance between price and weight were right for me. And they've done everything I've needed of them without any problems what so ever. The build quality is abs

Great compromise

Manufacturer's Description

Newly redesigned, the 190XPROB makes the famous Manfrotto-patented horizontal center column feature even easier to use. Now, by extending the column to its highest vertical position, it can be swung round to horizontal without removing the head or disassembling the column itself, so switching between framing and positioning setups is more convenient than ever. The ergonomics of the leg angle release mechanism and the quick action leg locks themselves have also been greatly improved.
