This is for HDV and if you really care you will at least use this quality. In the digital era where it's plus or minus (on or off) if the signal is there, it's there...but if it's bad, and you get a dropout in HDV, you will lose at least 1/2 second of inf...
Less drop out, better technology and quality control.
There is an even better "HDV Pro Master" tape on the market (about $16 a pop).
