Very easy to use. Intuitive interface with lost of help and tutorials. This software does eveything an avid photographer or pro would need short of full blown photo editing (Photoshop CS4 style). I have both and do 98% of everything in Lightroom. You can...
The photo import tool could use a bit of work if you like total control of your imports. I still find myself using MS photo & ; scanner wizard some times. I may just need to put some more effort into learning the Photoshop tool

Very good program for professional (and not so professional) photographers to make everywhere from very general to very presise manipulations to their digital images. Very easy to use as well
The ONLY con I can think of for the software is that there is a lot to it and, if you are new to the program, can take a little time to get a full handle on things
