fantastic little guy

 

so small! Managed to throw this in a Lenovo U410 laptop. Changed BIOS settings to AHCI. Formatted and installed Windows 7 on this bad boy. Then kept the 750GB standard HDD in the laptop for storage. So sick to be able to have 256 GB SSD and a 750 GB...

it's still on the expensive side

Excellent

 

I was expecting performance on par with the Vertex 2 drive I have installed on my desktop because this is an msata drive. I was pleasantly surprised. This is one of the best msata drives you can buy right now.

Excellent performance, on par with high-end desktop drives ; Didn't have compatibility issues with my notebook (Dell XPS 15 L521x) ; Works at SATA 3 (6Gbps) speeds as advertised

Noncompressible performance is not quite as good (like all Sandforce drives)
