expensive junk

Never again ADATA

ordinary SSD when it works

piece of junk, very unreliable, Lasted 2 months and windows 7 stop detecting it. Had it repaired, one year later the same problem. ADATA's people are not replying to my e-mail for repair though the warranty is 3 years

Are SSDs supposed to die after 2 years? If so, are they really that much better?

Worked well while it lasted

Very unfortunate that the disk had to die on me right at the beginning of semester. Can't get a worse con than not working

Operating 100% as I expected

Suggest that one use SSDs, in general, as many folks have already documented: * 'fstrim' periodically (or the Windows equivalent) the file system(s) on SSD drives. * Map temporoary space (E.g. Linux /tmp and /run) to RAM. * Avoid updating directories...

Quiet, cool (negligible generated heat), fast

None for me, so far. Note the other documented customer experiences. It sounds like there might be a design flaw or a quality control set of issues at manufacturing

I normally go for cheap, but...

Will most likely avoid this brand in the future. Was a first.

Easy to install, comes with bracket, speed is ok

Drive stopped working after 1 year, 10 months of usage

Constantly crashes

I would not buy this direct SSD again if it was to constantly crash like this, though it is extremely fast

This is an exceptionally speedy SSD and everything loads up almost instantly, easy to set up

Constantly crashing since the day I bought it

Worked for 2 years

It was good while it lasted. Once you get a SSD going back to a spinning disk drive is painful. I have an OS loaded on a conventional drive until I get a new SSD and it feels like going back to the 90s and using 56k. Could be that I got unlucky and...

Fast enough. Never ran a speed test, but I never experienced a slowdown (while it was working fine) due to the SSD ; Fairly priced among drives ; All the other benefits of having an SSD

Started to fail after 9-12 months of use. Had to reformat once, worked a little better, problems arose again ; 2 years in, its finally given up completely. Can't install a new OS on it ; Attempted to look for new drivers/firmware (maybe that could be...

Works but for how long?

Honestly, I may have had a stroke of bad luck. But i think other manufacturers like Samsung may have a higher quality SSD that might not require 2 weeks of fix time every 9 - 12 months.

The drive is fast. I never had any issues with it while it was working

The fault of this drive really comes from it's inability to work for an extended period of time. It was working for a year straight and then died and I had to warranty. ADATA fixed my drive and in a couple of weeks sent it back to me. It lasted another...

Failed in less than a year

Companies really need to stop with this nonsense

Does exactly what you expect a SSD to do.. Fast

Failed after about 6 months of use. Blue screen of death galore even on fresh installation. The cause was apparently a built in expiration trigger that is designed to cause it to fail after 5 years
