Died with no warning!

They, Corsair, are very slow replacing the drive. It was overnighted two weeks ago and still have not heard from them on when the replacement will arrive.

It ran great and operated very quickly............for about four months

It died with very little warning, in a matter of about 10 seconds things just started to disappear from the monitor until only the desktop background was left

Great Buy

This could be a considered a con but the drive was having trouble being recognized in bios and while trying to install win7 ultimate through a disk. I had to put my old drive and and format a thumb drive to make it into a boot drive. For some odd...

Faster than my old 1 terrabyte HDD which i formatted and use as a extra drive slot. I got this because i ran a lot of programs that felt like they took forever to start and and were always hiccuping because the drive could keep up. I then switched to...

Very limited room ; says 120g after format got 111g ; does not like to be put in sleep mode

Excellent Drives

Wish I had more :]

Exceptionally fast, I have four of these in a Raid 5. Transfer rates around 900 MB Max, Min 550 with an average of 688 MB/sec

Paint is delicate on the chassis be careful not to scratch. Costly but that is what you get with new techonlogy

Life fast, die young, but the corpse is ugly

I didn't have data on this. It was just my boot and executable drive. I sent all the variable often written stuff to the HDD, including the offline files cache and users directory.. So my recovery won't be terrible. However, since I had redirected the...

Rocking fast. Easy install

Died after 4 months with not so much as a SMART warning. Hibernated yesterday, and wasn't seen by the BIOS today. Tried swapping it with the HDD. It's as dead as a doornail ; Acer 755 with Windows 7, so should fully support trim, and was set for AHCI

NOT COMPATIBLE with Toshiba R700 / R705

Corsair says that these drives are not compatible with some systems, yet they offer no recourse. You can't exchange it for a different model. Instead Corsair tells you to use it in a different computer! Or to wait for yet another firmware update and...

These drives (Corsair Force Series) are excellent in terms of performance. It was rated at 7.6 by the Windows Experience Index. Blazingly fast in normal use. Newegg was nice and let me return this drive for a refund. However, Newegg's return policy...

NOT COMPATIBLE with some laptop and motherboard configurations. The drive will intermittently fail to return from sleep or hibernate. Or fail to boot. This is true for the Toshiba R700 and R705 laptops. Don't be fooled by the earlier review that makes...

grate cpu

I ran some benchmarks and was not reaching half of the reported read/write speeds. It was still faster than standard spinning HDDs though (~120MBps). I changed the benchmarks read/write block size from 64K to 2MB and began seeing numbers more in line...

Fast, no issues

The mounting bracket does not play well with mounting rails that came with my case - the screw holes on the mounting bracket do not match up with the screw holes on a 3.5" drive and, therefore, do not match up with the pins on the rails. No big deal,...

Quick, Quiet

Solid, Quick and Quiet Solid State Drive at a decent value. Corsair has always made great computer hardware, and this drive is no exception

Incredible

According to Corsair this drive will only be manufactured using the 34nm process until the end of March. They will however continue to manufacture the drive itself but it will be using their new 25nm process. This new drive according to Corsair will be...

This drive is incredible as it lives up to the benchmarks Corsair has posted using ATTO. This drive came with the 2.0 Firmware. Windows boots within a couple of seconds after the POST. Games that are loaded on the drive load within seconds as well. The...

It doesn't do my taxes

Works Good

Welcome to the future. SSD rocks.

It is very nice and fast. Win 7 Pro loads fast, shuts down fast, and opens programs in a flash. It installed like a regular drive except that I was looking at a Win 7 pro finished install desktop in 25 minutes. It got a Windows Experience rating of 7.6...

Now I want a much bigger one for my movie editing computer

Very Fast!

Had to upgrade because my 10k RPM WD Raptor drive failed after 7 years of use. Oh and don't bother defragging with these drives, there's virtually no seek so fragmented files won't effect it, plus it just degrades on it after so many uses.

Extremely fast. Loads things about 10x faster than a conventional HDD. Windows boots up in less than a minute, full boot, programs and all. Windows 7 x64 experience gives it a rating of 7.3

SSD is still very pricey but this was a good buy for a boot drive, and Corsair is top of the line
