Failed in about a year

After using both OCZ and Samsung SSD's for customers to install as the Windows boot drive, I was happy with SSD performance and reliability. So I decided to try the Corsair line as I like other Corsair products. So this one began locking up the...

Fast

Unreliable, premature failure

Excellent Drive So Far

This was a great upgrade for me. I was previously using a Kingston 64GB SSD and couldn't even install Windows 7 for fear of not being able to fit everything else I wanted due to the large size of the operating system. That isn't a problem now. It's...

Not much of a con, but it sometimes makes a bit of noise, while I thought it was supposed to be completely silent. I don't really care though, just thought I'd mention it. It is still silent 99% of the time

Crashed After 1 Power Outage

Going to try for a warranty claim since this has 5 years and the drive was purchased in 2013. Did I forget to mention that? The drive is less than a year old and failed after one measly power outage (no other hardware affected all over the house in...

When it worked, it was fast

Crpped out and won't turn on at all after one measly power outage. No other hardware failed, just the SSD. This Neutron SSD had my OS and all my applications on it, so thankfully not much was lost. Then again, this is supposed to be a reliable SSD, and...

Great SSD

Overall a very nice SSD. Ive installed and tested many different ones, but this is the first one I decided to use for gaming. Responds very well and is very fast. Have had no issues with it and it is running like I expected it to. Using it mainly for...

first SSD

This is a nicely sized little drive. Installed Windows 7 on it in my gaming rig. Boots really quick, less than a minute and you're up and running

I've had no problems with it so far

Great Performer

Price is great and so is performance. Overall, excellent choice. Just don't be deceived on the Corsair SSD Toolbox supporting all functions because it does not. On the Cosair blog and forum for the SSD Toolbox it states, and I quote; The Corsair SSD...

I am very happy overall. The Neutron has excellent read/write performance and fast access times. The drive performs well with both compressible and incompressible data (about the same with both) ; AS SSD testing returned the following scores ; Read:...

I am very disappointed to see the Corsair SSD Toolbox does NOT support RAID0. The documentation I had read suggested it did and that was influential in my decision to choose the Neutron over the Samsung EVO. Corsair needs to update their documentation...

My first SSD, therefore, I'm biased.

It's an SSD. I'm coming directly from a mechanical drive, so you know how I feel about it. Smaller, lighter, cooler, quieter, and massively faster than any mechanical drive. Also, it works

I'm looking forward to the day when a 1Tb SSD costs $100

Excellent!!!

In 10 minutes time, I had the old SSD cloned and this one up and running. Not a single hiccup or glitch!!! Super Speed

No Sandforce

From what I've learned, all but a couple of ssd's now available, use sandforce controllers. Samsung is one of the few brands that use an alternative controller in some of the drives they make ; Corsair teamed up with another company I forget the name...

it's not on sale for the price I got it for. I think as part of a celebrated release of this product, I got mine only several weeks after it was first introduced, anyways, I picked up mine for 170 and I think shipping was free too. Haven't seen this...

Boots up Windows 8 in less than 15 seconds and keeps all of my games from lagging during loads. Can't ask for much more ; Also a great value for the storage provided
