Kingston HyperX 3K 240GB SSD Review

The SSD market is literally saturated with competitors, and with SSDs being one of the "must-have" items these days, it's easier to get overwhelmed with trying to decide which make/model of SSD to go with in your system. Many people initially approach...

Looking at the available technical specifications, the only item missing is the detail on the 3K 25nm Intel MLC NAND flash. This NAND flash is endurance rated for 3,000 program/erase (or P/E) cycles

Kingston HyperX 3K SSD 120GB Na`Vi Edition

Kingston Technology has released Limited Editions of Na'Vi branded products, created especially for the fans of Na'Vi and eSports. The products have been developed in collaboration with the world's multiple champion eSports club Natus Vincere.

Hardware manufacturers regularly use the names and even expertise of gaming heroes to give their products a unique look or special features. We are not sure whether this always works, as the performance and quality of the products matters much more...

Decent quality budget SSD

-Even though the write speed seems slower now, it's still much faster than a traditional magnetic spinning hard drive. Plus, the read speed matters much more to me.

Has been booting my primary PC every day for over a year with no issues ; Boots incredibly fast, read speed is over 500mb/s as measured by CrystalDiskMark more than a year later

Write speed seems to have fallen somewhat over the past year. I didn't measure it with CrystalDiskMark when I first installed it, so this is a purely anecdotal observation

Kingston SH103S3B/120G

Have an RMA going with Kingston but not sure I will use the replacement. May sell it to a frenemy.

Fast performer. What you would expect from an ssd

Dead in 2 years. Would not buy another Kingston ssd. I will stick with Samsung or Intel. My intel drive is older and still going strong. I use it on my main computer that gets used everyday. The Kingston drive was rarely used. When it comes to data,...

Was considering Ripjaws for my build instead, but...

My Ripjaws feels MARGINALLY better, I couldn't resist buying this ram for the super sexy black heatsink

This is probably NOT the best product out there for the price. "Probably ; No real cons here though, you understand what you are buying and you get exactly that

Great Reliable Drive.

I am going to go ahead and get another of these to run in a RAID, since the thing works just fine.

This drive has performed very well in the two years I've had it. Yes it has slowed down some in performance, but not noticeable if you're not timing it with benchmarks. Haven't had a problem

I really can't think of any
