ClarionMiND NR1UB

The ClarionMind offers an extensive feature set that makes it as much an ultraportable PC as it is a portable navigation device

Stability is poor when multitasking. No built-in Web connection, so users are stuck using a Bluetooth connection or finding Wi-Fi where they can. Navigation and traffic updates are separate applications

The lack of a dedicated data connection and poor integration between its applications keeps the ClarionMind from fulfilling the potential that its hardware possesses.

Samsung SGH A657

The Samsung SGH-A657 offers a sturdy, durable design. The feature set includes GPS, push-to-talk, and 3G

The Samsung SGH-A657's promised talk time is rather short and there's no voice dialing. Also, its streaming video quality is poor

The Samsung SGH-A657 has a rugged design with a respectable feature set. Call quality is great, but streaming video quality is unimpressive.

Amazon Kindle 2 review

No expansion slot for adding more memory or accessing files ; files such as PDFs and Word documents aren't natively supported, and need to be converted at 10 cents a pop by Amazon ; no protective carrying case included ; battery is sealed into the ...

While it's still short of perfection--and has a price tag that's too high--the Amazon Kindle 2 offers a range of improvements that makes it the best overall e-book reader we've seen to date.

Hands-on with LG's phones from GSMA

The one thing I came away with is that LG loves its touch screens. Everywhere I turned, there was a touch screen staring back at me. Not that I'm complaining, but it got to the point where the phones were almost indiscernible to me. It would have been ...
