Only picks up my voice in a one-on-one conversation. The other person is drowned out by my voice. It does pick up both voices somewhat when a good ear-mic is attached and you are on the phone...

This machine is terrible ...

 

This machine is terrible for voice recording. The sound is muffled and there is a high pitched background noise (like a vacuum cleaner)and is extremely irritating. The batteries wear out quickly. As the tape goes on, the dictation becomes worse and worse.
