This product has great features

This Hamilton Beach can opener features all the things I was looking for. It is rechargeable, easy to use, compact and looks good on the counter or will fit in a drawer.

Battery is it's downfall

It's small and compact, but the battery opens 3 or 4 cans on a good day then it's dead. No indication that it's low. If it's been in the drawer a few days after charging it may get one can done but not always. Very disappointed. A challenge to engage...

Junk

The battery did not hold up. The opener locks into the top of the can and I have to get help to get the opener off of the top of the can.

unique product design and very compact

This free standing can opener replaced a 1970's vintage hand held electric opener that was a workhorse. Being able to store the appliance in a drawer frees up counter-top real estate. Would have preferred a plug-in model, but could not find one that is...

Somewhat disapointed

Product is hard to use. The lever for pressing the cutting blade into the can is too short so it takes a lot of effort to use - I was afraid I might break it since I had to press so hard, and the unit is noisy.

Best Can Opener Ever

A palm sized rechargeable auto shut off can opener. What more can I say? The best price on a great product. A little difficult at first to get used to placing it on the can, but after a few tries it becomes easy. Buy it. You won't be sorry.
