Brother DCP-130C

Given the number of printers and MFDs (multifunction devices) rolling off the assembly lines every year, it's easy to forget how much thought goes into designing new models. Until you see a product of the calibre of the Brother DCP-130C, that is.

Overall, HP's PhotoSmart C3180 is perhaps preferable on print quality. However, the Brother is very impressive, and if you're more interested in robust paper feeding and convenient design, this is a strong contender.

Brother - DCP-130C

Brother's DCP-130C is a compact multi-function device, featuring a four-colour inkjet printer, copier and scanner, and is so compact you begin to wonder how they managed to fit it all in. Also compact is the price ...

The compact size and low price of the DCP-130C make it an ideal MFD where home or office space is at premium and you don't need the higher duty cycles of a larger unit.

Brother DCP-130C

This is a compact All In One unit, however while it is small and the controls are easy to use, all is not as it should be.

The is 39x35x16cm and light grey and black in colour. There are a total of 15 buttons all at the right side of the front edge of the top along with a rather poor LED display that you always seem to be at the wrong angle to view what it is saying. The...

This is a great machine, but paper feed probelm

It prints a lot better than the HP f380 ; Uses less ink

As a lot of people with the DCP series printer have experienced Paper feed problem. This printer jam a sheet of paper, attempts to eject it, and damaged itself. Every time I command it to print, it will make all the strange sounds and say paper jam

STOPS PRINTING BLACK if any one of color tanks is empty

Printer is bulky, huge. since it is just a piece of junk as a printer, consider if you really want that fat scanner sitting on your desk.

Well, it scans documents, big deal

I have almost a full black ink tank but cannot print mono since it requires you have color ink tanks even though you are not printing color

Absolutely The Worse Printer Brand Ive Ever Used

Absolutely the worst printer Ive ever had in 15 years. Even my old school printers beat this one. Why? Well, the ink uses up extremely fast because before every print job they would "clean the ink head nozzle". Before I even realised it and without...

Works as a better scanner than printer

Everything bad you can imagine, especially ink consumption

Great Little Printer

I have had this printer for almost 12 months I would estimate that I have printed over 100 documents mainly in colour and the ink is still going. it is about to run out but I think it's pretty good over all. I did have a HP all in one and 2 months...

Quiet, Affordable, Economical, Self cleaning, easy to use 4 cartridge system

I really cannot think of any

STOPS PRINTING BLACK if any one of color tanks is empty

Not worth buying

Do not buy this printer. I used it to print b/w documents but color ink ran out quickly (about 30 pages). One ink cartridge cost US$22+. Used for only 2 months.

Paper feeding

Ink runs fast, can't print without color ink
