Review of the Brother DCP-145C printer

Print quality, separate ink cartridges, features and LCD menus

Flimsy front feed paper tray, can't handle heavy photo media, scan quality

Using Ilford Galerie Smooth High Gloss Media the prints were nothing short of superb. The scanner, on the other hand, was not up to the same high standard. Scans were soft when compared to the other three units. Having said that, looking at the prints...

Wakes you up in the middle of the night

It's an alright printer, basic and reliable. BUT its woken me up twice now in the middle of the night with its automatic cleaning. Very basic printing quality. Windows program is very basic as well. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Reliable

Cheap looking Windows program. Wakes you up in the middle of the night with its automatic cleaning cycle. Expensive cartridges

Brother DCP 145C

Overall value & quality. The low cost of replacing ink cartridges. Individual ink cartridges can be replaced very easily. The print quality. The multi-functions in one machine - printer; copier; scanner.

For the low cost of such a versatile machine, I don't have any bad points.

I got in an offer for INR. 2200/- (M.R.P. INR 4500/-) In early i have took lots of print outs and then took poster size photos of my family for hanging around in the house, they look amazing. and finally the ink cartridges are empty. then i looked out...

Brother DCP 145C

Quality/Price ratio very favourable

Controls could be better, for instance the display could be bigger and the various functions more user friendly. I found it difficult to find and use the Control Centre on the screen initially.
