Brother DCP-1510

An all-in-one laser for under £100 pounds

Light, easy to move ; Easy set up ; Economical two-part cartridge

No wireless or Ethernet connection ; Noisy when printing ; Awkwardly placed/sized power button

Hinge up the scanner section, which is supported on a ‘bonnet strut’, and you have access to an internal cover, which lifts to reveal a two-part drum and toner cartridge, with the handle intelligently coloured bright green to identify it. It’s a bit...

Brother DCP-1510 mono laser printer review

Brother has just released a trio of low volume mono laser printers at highly affordable prices so we decided to take a look at the middle unit to gauge how much this range merited its 'great value for money' tag. See all multifunction printer reviews.

Although Brother may target this budget MFP at small businesses, the heavily restricted features might suggest it's more likely to end up in home or student studies, despite its rapid print speed.

Would not recommend this product.

The worst printer that I have purchased. First of all I was told that it was compatible with Linux Ubuntu (not the fault of the product) and then paid a technician to install to Windows 10. Print quality is poor and the machine has a mind of its own....

Cheap to purchase, cheap to run, fairly cheap output

mes have to babysit your print job. The printing clarity tends to be a bit weak. But it's cheap to purchase (about $80) and cheap to run (a $69 cartridge does about 1000 pages, apparently). It's a solid performer and we have no regrets.
