Only bought it because wife insisted we need a color printer. I was perfectly happy with my monochrome Brother Laser printer, which prints so much faster and the b/w print quality is so much crisper. I trust Brother printers because of the quality and...

Small. Wireless functions. inexpensive. Can print from an iOS device wirelessly. Ink is cheaper for branded and off-branded cartridges

Ink runs out fast. Wireless functionality is iffy

Can\'t Beat The Price

I use this printer for personal use only. It\'s compact and, so far, I\'m pleased with the product.

nice little printer.

the paper tray could be annoying if you print a lot but if your like me and only print once every other month this is ideal. as the enclosed nature of it will prevent humidity from warping your paper.

better than any hp ive ever had ; it does a ink head cleaning cycle every morning. its alarming every time it goes off. im like "whats that noise" and begin turning my head like a meerkat until i figure out what it is. it prints real nice and i love...

getting the wifi networking took a few attempts. wps would not work. the setup is not as intuitive as it should be. but i got it working. had to do it manually

Happy with Brother printers.

Ink for these printers can be had for a very cheap price. All the Brother printers I bought take the same L-61 ink cartages. That\'s the main reason I purchased the DCPJ140W is for the cartage it took and that it was wireless. JR.Com delivered the...

Brother, can you spare this printer?

Mostly for personal use, snail and e-mail; occasional photoshopping. Normal black\/white speed is better than average, color not so. Cartridge installation a little tricky (be sure to follow instructions). Have had many printers from the first dot...

Brother DCP-J140W review

Brother makes a truly daunting range of inkjet multifunction peripherals (MFPs), of which the DCP-J140W is one of the cheapest. An entry-level model aimed at micro businesses, it can handle basic prints, scans and copies, but there's no fax facility.

The DCP-J140W is cheap, but it's also slow to print and expensive to run

Brother DCP-J140W

Brother's DCP-J140W is a low cost all-in-one which still offers wireless printing.

Easy front-loading cartridges ; Clever use of LCD ; Good software bundle

No memory card or USB slot ; Only single paper cassette ; Inaccurate speed claims

The only other thing to do is load the single, 100-sheet paper cassette, which is used for both plain and photo paper, and the machine is ready to go. A small, extending support and paper stop pulls out from the front edge of this cassette, but is much...

Brother DCP-J140W review

The Brother DCP-J140W is the company's cheapest to buy inkjet multifunction printer so far, at around £54.

Brother's sub-£60 all-in-one has good Wi-Fi connectivity, a small footprint and decent standard print quality for documents and photos. But sluggish speeds and its 'stripped down' features smack too much of drastic cost-cutting.
