Brother MFC-250C

Cheap, relatively low running costs, good photo print quality

No media card slots, scan quality could be improved

Don't expect the best print quality, but at this price the Brother MFC-250C multifunction printer is a decent option that handles basic tasks adequately.

Sometimes the race for faster and more versatile printers means too many corners are cut. The MFC-250C is just such an example, resulting in serious design flaws and disappointing print quality.

A small footprint - great print quality and quiet too-boot.

If you use the machine irregularly there's a lengthy cleaning process to go through

a small machine dose just what it says on the tin .first class value for the money. the back up service is first class

I like it so much, I bought another at our seasonal 2nd home.

Its easy to set up initially for basic functions of printing and copying

Printing is slower than I expected . Instruction book is not as clear as I would like it to be in regard to setting up fax function on phone line

I have found that this machine is a lot better in every way than the MFC 425 cn. The best thing I find is that sending a fax is a lot easier and smoother than the 425, and it works very well with WINDOWS 7.

I have not found any.

As the ink cartridges are not chipped there is no problem of them being rejected by the printer as I have experienced with the Epsom printers
