XP setup is a breeze. There is a time or two that the setup looks like it wants input... resist clicking anything and just let it finish on its own. Linux setup is not straight foward in Ubuntu you need two change things and make a symbolic link. I...

Works with Linux (ubuntu) ; Works with XP ; Small and light for a MFC ; Print Server setup ; Fax has caller ID ; Setup for win is easy ; Ink cartridges are good size. OEM ink is resonable if you shop around

Paper Tray is flimsy ; Printing envelopes is not easy and only certain types of envelopes work well

Poor software, paper feed and function

 

ink is cheap, if the printer worked it would be a real pro.

Software is terrible it interferes with the normal function of windows, slows down other programs
